For thousands of years, we humans have united in the timeless ritual of sharing a drink as an expression of honor and good will. Deals have been struck, wars have ended, and marital unions blessed and sealed with a show of mutual respect known as the toast. Every culture has such a custom, and these coasters are an homage to this time-honored symbol of heritage and cross-cultural unity.
Each coaster is hand made. Hand thrown on a potters wheel and stamped making each coaster unique and each set one of a kind.

Each hand lettered design embodies the aesthetic character of the culture it was derived from. The hand lettered compositions were vectorized and converted into a stamp and applied to the clay. Each coaster was then fired, and glazed by Brian Earwood Ceramics.
